1. Applicability
1.1. These General Terms and Conditions may be applied to all direct business agreements concluded between Seehotel Pilatus AG and its guests (hereinafter “Guest”).
2. Contract conclusion / Reservation
2.1. A contract (reservation agreement) regarding the services to be provided by Seehotel Pilatus AG is only concluded when the reservation agreement has been confirmed or reconfirmed by the hotel and the guest in a written form.
2.1. In order to be permitted to enter into a contract, the guest has to be of legal age and have full legal capacity.
2.2. Seehotel Pilatus AG confirms the reservation agreement by sending a reservation confirmation. This can be sent by e-mail or by ordinary post.
2.3. The reconfirmation on behalf of the guest must be made at least 10 days before arrival by providing the credit card details
3. Modifications to the contract / reservation
3.1. Any modifications to the existing reservation will only become binding once they have been confirmed or reconfirmed by both parties.
4. Number of guests
4.1. The number of guests specified upon conclusion of the contract (definitive booking) is mandatory.
4.2. Seehotel Pilatus AG guarantees accommodation for the guests booked in conformity with the contract.
4.3. Seehotel Pilatus AG will endeavor to accommodate additional guests, who are not mentioned in the contract, in its own hotel if this is possible. However, Seehotel Pilatus AG assumes no responsibility if this is not possible.
5. Children
5.1. Children must be officially registered when the contract is made.
5.2. Children from 0 – 3 years are free of charge.
A surcharge of CHF 30.00 per child and per night is charged for children from 4 – 11 years.
A surcharge of CHF 50.00 per child and per night is charged for children from 12 – 15 years.
Guests aged 16 and over are subject to a surcharge of CHF 80.00 per person and per night
5.3. Children are not permitted in the “Rigi” and “Lopper” suites.
6. Pets
6.1. Only dogs are permitted as pets.
6.2. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the public areas of the hotel (restaurant, lobby, corridors, gardens, etc.).
6.3. Dogs are permitted in the restaurant and in the rooms, except for the “Rigi” and “Lopper” suites, in which dogs are not allowed.
6.4. Dogs are not permitted in the entire wellness area.
7. Prices and terms of payment
7.1. The prices quoted are in Swiss francs (CHF) including statutory VAT and visitor’s tax.
7.2. Seehotel Pilatus AG is authorised to debit the accommodation costs from the provided credit card at 13:00 the day before arrival.
7.3. For payment in euros, the daily exchange rate of Seehotel Pilatus AG will be applied.
8. Liability
8.1. The customer shall be liable for all damage demonstrably caused by him, his fellow visitors or his Dog to the premises, facilities and inventory of Seehotel Pilatus AG.
8.2. The guest must immediately report any damages or loss of furnishings and inventory items. The costs arising will be charged to the guest.
8.3. Die Seehotel Pilatus AG lehnt jede Haftung für Verlust oder Beschädigung der vom Gast eingebrachten Gegenstände ab.
9. Cancellation and no-show
9.1. The cancellation conditions are as follows:
– up to 12:00 noon on the day before arrival: 0% of the confirmed arrangement
– from 12:01 p.m. on the day before arrival: 100% of the confirmed arrangement
9.2. If the guest does not arrive, the room will be charged at 100% and debited from his credit card.
10. Modification of the GTCs
10.1. Seehotel Pilatus AG reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time.
